I am Bonu Vamsi, a banking professional from Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, with a strong interest in finance, management, and continuous learning. I believe in building a career that is not only stable and growth-oriented but also meaningful in the long run. My approach to life and work is guided by discipline, structured thinking, and a constant effort to improve both professionally and personally. I aim to develop myself into an individual who can contribute effectively to organizations while also creating independent value through ideas and initiatives.
My educational background is rooted in commerce and management. I have completed my Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Master of Commerce (M.Com), and Master’s in Journalism and Mass Communication, which together provide me with a balanced understanding of finance, communication, and analytical thinking. I have also qualified UGC NET in Commerce, strengthening my academic foundation. In addition, I have completed several professional certifications such as JAIIB and CPCB, along with courses in digital marketing, project management, and financial management. To further enhance my expertise, I am currently pursuing an MBA in Finance.
I am currently serving as a Manager (Scale–I) in the Junior Management Grade Scale–I (IBA) at The Andhra Pradesh State Cooperative Bank Ltd. (APCOB), a Government-partnered Scheduled Bank, having entered service through the IBPS selection process in the year 2021. As an entry-level managerial position within the banking hierarchy, this role involves a combination of operational, administrative, and supervisory responsibilities, requiring a balance of technical knowledge, managerial capability, and structured decision-making.
Over the course of my tenure, I have gained diverse exposure across multiple functional areas of banking. I began my journey in the IT – RTGS Section, handling critical payment systems, and subsequently worked in the Institutional Development Department (IDD) and PACS Cell. I was also actively involved in the PACS Computerisation Project (A Flagship GOI Sponcered Governament Scheme), contributing to the digital transformation of cooperative institutions. Currently, I am part of the VOICE Department, where I am engaged in branding, marketing, and corporate communication activities at the institutional level. My responsibilities include preparation of official reports, proposals, and documentation, coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders, and supporting digital initiatives and outreach programs.
This progressive exposure across technical, developmental, and communication domains has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of banking operations, organizational processes, and the structured execution of ideas, forming a strong foundation for my continued professional growth and leadership development.
Beyond my professional and academic journey, I have a strong inclination towards writing and creative expression. I am a budding author and have published four books that reflect my interest in storytelling, emotions, and human connections:
Unexpected – A Journey Where Destiny Awaits - 2025
The Lost Path to Home - 2024
Banking on Love 2 – A Tale of Determination - 2023
Banking on Love – A Tale of Hearts and Balance Sheets - 2023
I enjoy exploring ideas, putting them into words, and developing content that reflects both thought and emotion. I have authored books and continue to engage in writing as a way to express perspectives and connect with broader audiences. I am also interested in concepts related to sustainable living, where practical and balanced lifestyle approaches can create long-term value for individuals and communities. You can find the viewing and purchase link in writing/Projects Section.
I maintain an active lifestyle and value physical fitness as an important part of overall well-being. Cycling, regular workouts, and maintaining consistency in daily routines are activities that help me stay focused and disciplined. I believe that personal habits play a key role in shaping long-term success.
In addition to my professional role, I have been actively involved in leadership and social engagement through Rotaract. I have served in various capacities including Treasurer, Secretary, President, and Club Advisor, and have also contributed at the district level as a District Financial Advisor. These roles have provided me with valuable experience in leadership, teamwork, planning, and execution of initiatives, while also enhancing my communication and organizational skills.
Overall, I believe in continuous learning, consistent effort, and building a life that balances profession, passion, and purpose. I remain open to exploring new ideas, guiding others where possible, and gradually moving towards an entrepreneurial journey that creates meaningful and sustainable impact.
